Intermediate transfer belt drive rollers

In many color applications, an intermediate transfer belt is utilized to transfer the image. A drive roller is necessary to rotate this intermediate transfer belt. These rollers are made to precise tolerances and required that a consistent amount of friction be delivered at the contact surface between the transfer belt and the roller in order to accurately drive the transfer belt. NSD meets this strict friction force requirement by utilizing urethane-based or urethane foam-based surface coating.

Functional coating

Additional functions can be provided by applying different coating materials on a roller surface.

1.Urethane coating

Suitable when high friction coefficient and high friction force are required.

 

2.Urethane foam coating

In addition to high friction coefficient and high friction force requirements,
   the friction force generated from urethane foam coating is more stable in
   terms of durability.
